If your camera isn’t producing any sound — whether during live streaming, playback, or two-way talk — several factors could be causing the problem. This article will guide you through the most common causes and how to fix them.

App Settings
Live stream audio is muted
Check the speaker icon on the live streaming page. If it shows a muted state, tap it to enable sound.
Microphone permission not granted
The Nooie app needs access to your phone’s microphone for two-way talk to work.On your phone, open Settings → find Nooie → enable Microphone.
Two-way audio not configured properly
Some models have single- or two-way audio modes. Check the configuration in the camera settings.
Note: For models IPC200 and IPC200A (outdoor cameras), microphone and speaker cannot be used at the same time. When the microphone is enabled, the speaker will not work; when the speaker is in use, the microphone will be disabled.
Phone system volume too low or in silent mode
Make sure your phone’s media volume is turned up and that silent or Do Not Disturb mode is off.
Camera Settings
Audio recording is disabled
Go to Camera Settings → Audio/Video → ensure Audio Recording is turned on.
Outdated firmware
Make sure your camera firmware is up to date. Outdated firmware can sometimes affect audio features.
Hardware or Network Issues
Camera microphone or speaker damage
