If your camera isn’t detecting motion as expected, there may be several factors affecting its performance. This guide will help you identify and fix the issue.
Check Detection Settings
Unplug the power supply for a few seconds, then plug it back in.
Open the Nooie app and check that Motion Detection is enabled.
Make sure the Detection Sensitivity is set to High for maximum responsiveness.
Consider Object Size and Distance
The camera may not trigger alerts for very small objects at a distance.
As a reference for an adult approximately 1.70 m tall:
Low sensitivity → triggers up to 7 meters
Medium sensitivity → triggers up to 9 meters
High sensitivity → triggers within 10 meters
Tips for Better Detection
Ensure the camera lens is clean and unobstructed.
Avoid placing the camera behind glass or in areas with strong light reflections.
Make sure the firmware and the Nooie app are updated to the latest version.
