iOS Users: Fix QR Code Scanning Issues Due to Older Camera Firmware

If you’re having trouble scanning the QR code to connect your camera, it may be because the camera’s firmware is outdated. Cameras with firmware versions below 7.0.0 often have difficulty recognizing animated (flashing) QR codes during network setup, which can cause pairing failures. Don’t worry — follow the steps below to get your camera connected smoothly.

Step 1: Check Your App Version

Make sure your Nooie app is updated to version 3.6.0 or higher to ensure full compatibility.

Step 2: Copy the Configuration Text

Copy the following text exactly:

Then open the Nooie app and select QR code pairing.

Step 3: Open the App and Wait for the Homepage Prompt

Click “Allow Paste” and then “Go to Config” to start the network setup process.
