Multi-Screen Live View Layout and Audio Limitations

Overview

The multi-screen live view feature allows users to monitor multiple cameras at once. However, depending on your device orientation and app design, certain layout and audio limitations apply.

If you find that the live view screen is divided into four sections in landscape mode and cannot display only two cameras, this is expected behavior under the current app design.

Why You See Four Grids in Landscape Mode

In landscape orientation, the multi-view layout is fixed to a four-grid view.
This means:

• You can still view live feeds from connected cameras.

• When fewer than four cameras are paired, the layout remains divided into four sections.

• Empty slots will appear blank, and the video aspect ratio may not automatically adjust to fill the screen.

If you prefer to view each camera in full size, switch back to portrait mode, where each camera feed is displayed individually with a clearer, full-screen preview.

Audio Playback Limitation

While you can view multiple cameras at once, the multi-view screen does not support playing audio from multiple cameras simultaneously.

• You can listen to one camera feed at a time by selecting its live view and enabling the speaker.

• Simultaneous multi-camera audio playback is currently not supported to ensure audio clarity and app performance stability.
